Had a really pleasant meal here in good dining room, a bit more upmarket than other local offerings. Service was attentive and on a cool summer evening the room was warm. Food of a high standard.

We stayed for 3 nights at The Wild Atlantic Lodge. There was a small hiccup when we arrived (longing for a lie down) to find the room still dirty from the previous occupants. The pleasant member of staff remedied the situation but it involved us having to go for a walk for half an hour and the feeling that it... More

This is clearly a renovated property, but the charm remains on the ground floor with a lovely reception room and pub. The room (ours was on what I think was the newer wing) was on the small side but was very modern and clean and quiet...room #16. The breakfast was good, though they seemed a bit short staffed...in fairness, many... More

A standard small hotel bar that serves food. Our curry was good as was the service. There was a nice open fire.

You will find here what you'd find at most pubs/restaurants in the area but the service is great and the atmosphere is lovely.

I stayed in the Wild Atlantic on the reopening weekend in February. A truly great experience on all levels, from the warm welcome upon arrival to the 5 star service throughout our stay. Our stay was was made better with the high number of trad musicians playing over the weekend . I highly recommend the Wild Atlantic Lodge for any... More

My husband selected this lovely quaint restaurant for my mothers day treat . What a disappointment! Apparently we had to suffer due to a 'very hectic day' . Mussels with no sauce, which I was told was the way they are prepared !(despite the description on the menu) Then meringue with no strawberries again of which i was told 'we... More

Dear Kate. I was very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your visit to our restaurant on Sunday last. It is unfortunate that you did not enjoy the mussels but I feel it is important to note that you were not charged for them because of your complaint. I hope you will dine with us again in the...
