Went last night 6th jan for my birthday meal.We have only been here a few times but when we went in last night my husband and i felt like we were regulars. Really friendly staff. Seated at once( it was busy) we booked for 7 and had been seated right away and given gunniess bread . At 7.15 our beautiful... More

Once again I went here with my wife and managed to get a booking. Getting a booking can be difficult given the few number of tables available but staff are more than accommodating. We had some lovely homemade breads and a little cup of soup. The starters and mains were truly exceptional. We had two starters of blow torched Carrigart... More

Having been relatively disappointed with my first visit to this restaurant during the summer, I was pleasantly surprised with my more recent visit! We came here with friends on a busy Saturday evening at the beginning of December. The Christmas menu was on offer the evening we visited. The atmosphere in this little restaurant was nice and the staff were... More

Visited here last night with my partner and we weren't disappointed. Looking at the Christmas menu it read ok but when the food arrived it was amazing, clearly undersold by its description. All food was locally sourced which I liked. For starters I had the turf smoked salmon and my partner had the rolled linguine with chicken and chorizo. The... More

Went for a meal with a friend and we ordered off The Christmas Menu. Wow. All courses were incredible, both presentation and taste. Beef fritters to start were amazing. Service was also first class. These guys really do care about what they are doing, and should be proud of the food they are producing. Keep it up. By far the... More

We visited early Friday evening (5:30). It was v quiet when got there (restaurant opens @ 5) but by the time we left a couple of hours later it was buzzing with a good atmosphere. The food was very tasty and v well presented (they've been watching Masterchef!), service was good, friendly and efficient (we saw 1 of the chefs... More

if you show up before 6:45 PM you can get a great value meal. Had the sirloin steak which was very tasty and tender. They have a decent wine list.

Great food - couldn't fault it! Had starter main and dessert, and each one was excellent. Food was freshly cooked to order, and all really good quality. I can thoroughly recommend the pulled pork starter, lamb main, and panacotta desert.

Thank Olive M

The Lemon tree is a Letterkenny owned family run restaurant opened in 1999. The three brothers in the kitchen have a unique style with a mixture of traditional Irish and French classic, influenced by country house cooking which was collected by their many years experience all over Irleand. All meats are Irish sourced and fresh fish is a special feature. Everthing is made freshly on site including all breads, pastries, pastas and desserts. The Wine list is ever growing and includes something for all tastes. The restaurant offers a Early bird menu 7 days available from 5 - 7 pm and a full A la carte menu from 5 - 10 PM. Lunch is available from 1 - 2:30 PM on Sunday
