The small beautiful town of Tramore has many hidden gems and this is one of them. Beautiful views of the ocean are right outside. The service was warm and great. We were lucky enough to go on a night with live music. It was so much fun! Also their Tolberone cheesecake was to die for, if they have it available... More

Wow. Were we impressed with the quality of food The Victoria House produces. We visited on Easter Monday, when little else was open and ordered the wings, fish & chips, and pork belly appetizer. Absolutely phenomenal. Whomever is running the kitchen is a trained, experienced chef that takes pride in their work.

Booked a table here for four on a Saturday night on the strength of the reviews on here for a family birthday. The views are beautiful from the restaurant and was really looking forward to it. We had burgers, curry and a pork special and desert but were pretty underwhelmed. We found the food to be average at best. The... More

Visited over Easter. Great staff, serves a great pint (as per the hubbie), generous glasses of good French Sauvignon & the price was good too. The staff were so friendly & welcoming -couldn't do enough. Keep it up The Vic, it was a pleasure! We'll be back on our next trip.

Went to her Vic for a bit of dinner, as usual it is really good. Starter of brouchette is the job. I like the wok fried prawn for main. Food is excellent and service as always is great. We love to get a window seat as you can see the beach.

Had lunch here on St Patricks day. Had no booking (eek!) for restaurant but were told 'not a problem', given a table and told could spend as long as we wanted there. I had a prawn pil-pil starter and my partner black pudding, goats cheese and bacon salad, both very generous portions. For mains we had cod & chips and... More

I've never gotten a bad meal here and it can be difficult to get a table on a Friday or Saturday night. Sunday afternoons can also be difficult. But worth the effort. Good pint too, and the seat beside the fire is cosy on a cold day.

We had Sunday lunch in the bar here. Not very busy so service was prompt. My husband had the Metalman Beer battered Cod and chips accompanied by a pint of Guinness and I had the mussels. Both dishes were gorgeous. Fresh, tasty and full of flavour. Portion sizes are perfect too. Only downside was the sauce the mussels were in... More

our family of 4 adults were all delighted with the food and service with the roast beef excellent and the mussels more than one could consume, while the two steaks were tender. Desserts delicious. Coffee and drinks completed a lovely meal. We will be back.
