We stopped here for lunch after we finished up at Cliffs of Moher. We both had paninis that were very good (they have about 4 choices of these). The chips were nice and crisp. The restaurant had a cozy feeling but had plenty of tables...More

Stopped in Ennistimon on our way to the Cliffs of Moher. My husband had the fish and chips, which was most excellent, and I had the ham and cheese panini with seafood chowder. It was good. Dessert was an excellent panna cotta with fresh strawberries.

Byrne's is a substantial size restaurant. Tables are quaintly covered with old-style oilcloths. Food was excellent as was the service. Staff were good-humoured, chatty and pleasant. Would definitely go back there.

Byrnes was recommended by a friend prior to my stay at the Ennistymon Falls Hotel. The walk from the hotel adjacent to the falls brought us conveniently to Byrnes. The view from the balcony is good and we had such lovely weather last Saturday. Food...More
