Just had an excellent meal at this restaurant. Shared a special mixed Balti & a beef Sagg dish with pilau rice & a garlic nann. Super service, warm & welcoming hospitality & tremendous value. The atmosphere in the restaurant was full of positive vibes & there was a great buzz present too. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Very nice and helpful staff, a little more expensive than the Chinese restaurants in Fermoy but well worth it for something different. Also is a lovely restaurant to sit and have a meal in, very pretty inside.

We decided to eat out while we were staying in The Grand Hotel, Fermoy and found the Taj Mahal only a short distance away. Great little Restaurant, wonderful food, and the best part is you can bring your own wine with you.

Although more pricey than the other local restaurants I think this place is worth it-especially when eating in. Also they appear to hav recently reduced prices and hav introduced BYO which reduces the price of a meal considerably. Food is really tasty and the lady who runs it is very friendly and attentive. The poppadoms and dips served upon ordering... More

I regularly eat in Raj and can highly recommend it. The food here is exceptional, streets ahead of other Indian restaurants I have tried around the country. A personal favourite of mine is their tandoori prawns, well worth trying. The service here is great, and the staff are very helpful and add to the warm atmosphere. I have introduced family... More

I'm a regular (for a reason) but along with another indian in Trim (can't remember the name) this is one of my favourite. However, the food can vary between weeks (I guess the chef differs???) but the worst it has been is "very good". Maybe a little on the expensive side but I think Indian always is? Along with Thai... I've only stopped in for take out here but it looks like a nice restaurant. I first tried the Vindaloo which is Southern H-O-T and not for the sensible Irish palate. When they warn you, believe it! The Chicken tandori had a nice flavour but it came as a breast and not the preferred bone-in style. The shishkabob, ground lamb-on-a-stick... More

nice atmosphere, great service and tasty food. . .all you really want in a restaurant. does take away as well and thats really popular. i think lately they are offering BYOB to the restaurant as well so thats a bonus cos the meal can sometimes work out a bit costly (by small Irish town standards). Well worth a try, even... More
