Visited this pub for another visit the food as usual was lovely could not find a fault it is a bit pricey for what it is but is a nice pub just a shame with always changing management

Expensive, packaged food, re-heated. Presently run by Butcomb staff, shows the control Butcomb's have over pricing and quality and the result is not good. The Stag along the road understands quality food at an affordable price. Three times bad experience is enough.

Very limited menu but quality food, friendly staff and chef obviously knows what he's doing. Probably a managerial constraint

I would have thought so, but always best to check as they do get booked up and I believe Sunday Lunch is popular.

A characterful village pub with open fires and wood burner. The main building offers well defined areas with leather sofas by the open fire, dining area and bar area with wood burner. Expect to find traditional English fare prepared from scratch on site. A separate function room with its own bar caters for private functions, parties and meetings, with the comfortable 6 en suite rooms ideal for the tired guest, or those visiting Bath.
