On looking for somewhere to stay for 1 night and after reading the reviews I thought this was a good place as the previous reviews said it had a great restaurant. When we arrived we were told the restaurant does not operate anymore and hasn't for some time. This we found very disappointing as after reading the menu on their... More

Spent the day and night there for a close friend's wedding Perfect weather, cute little venue and the food was delicious! From drinks in the gardes, photos by the well and then those pumpkin soup shooters, WOW sensaaaaational! so good those crumbed prawns and even sausage rolls for the kids and then what an atmosphere created by the band and... A beautifully restored house, with a quality restaurant. I enjoyed a salmon and a prawn entree (no mains) and delicious mushroom and pumpkin side dishes, my husband had the duck - I don't normally like duck, but the taste I had of his was exquisite. Dessert was a pleasant but not outstanding creme brulee, coffee was OK, I wouldn't say... More

I recently returned to the Prince Albert for lunch, I have been a number of times both for lunch and breakfast. The food isalways great my favorite is the Jew fish. The staff give friendly & prompt service and make the best coffee in the highlands a big thumbs up from me guys.

Just returned home from the Prince Albert having had a very nice lunch. The food was of a high standard and enjoyable. The only down side was the lack of vegetables, today we were limited to pumpkin only. The prices for lunch were very reasonable ($15-00 for the pie) and the wine ($26-00 bottle) were real value for money. The Prince... More

Lunch on a Sunday with family in a historic building was lovelly, the food was excellent and we were certainly full when we left, however, it is a shame that the young waitress was skipping though the restaurant while guest were trying to eat!! the menu is not extensive but the chef's have mastered dishes available! well done chef!

We ate at the restaurant during a 2 night stay at The Prince Albert Inn. The atmosphere in a restaurant in a lovely old heritage inn with real wood open fires was warm and inviting. The food was superb - we had the pork belly and the 12hr lamb shoulder - absolutely delicious. The kids loved the amazing hand cut... More

We had our annual work function held at the Prince Albert Inn. From the moment we arrived we were greated by freindly staff. The place had such a warm atmosphere with open fires blaring, After settling in for a few good drinks and getting a good look at the impressive restoration, I must say that alone is worth the trip.... I must begin by saying that as a local to this area, it has been fantastic watching the transformation of this wonderful old inn from decrepit to divine over a long period. Yesteryear has finally been lovingly restored and as such, the idea of staying and/or dining here becomes a priority and something to very much look forward to. My... More

Great food. Excellent wine. The pea and ham soup was beautifully presented and tasted great. We had the sirloin steaks which were very tasty. The desserts was also excellent, especially the chocolate fondant We also stayed overnight in one of their fantastically renovated rooms - very cosy and homely.
