We have visited Keepers Cottage for many years now and the food has been excellent. Only a small restaurant so best to book. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Their sauté potatoes are fantastic and I would recommend you try them. They have a specials board as well as a main menu.

Place is very dated but food was good. Barmaid was a bit scatty and she annoyed me a tad whilst serving our drinks asked if wanted ice/slice whilst chatting to the locals sat at the bar had to wait for her to finish till I could answer. She then charged us again for the drinks when we paid the food... More

We visited over Easter weekend and they fit us in last minute, but we had the most amazing meal - very good value for money and massive portions. Would definitely return!

Really enjoyed the mix of savouries and then to our surprise that was followed by a full cream tea and cake !!! I was with an Art Group doing a tour of local churches, the lunch was arranged by the group leader.

food is nice here although the portion size can be big so be careful when having a starter, but meals are nice and the people friendly. they nearly always fit you in, its well priced for the kind of food

A group of 15 ladies came for an evening meal. We were all impressed with the food and the service. Generous portions and well cooked.

We visited here Friday night and considering it has four stars on TripAdvisor it was a big let down, the missis had lasagna and said it was dry and taste like it had been microwaved I had chicken tikka and although said it was homemade again tasted like a microwave meal too. Inside the eating area of the pub there... More

It had been some time ago, and I had forgotten about the food, so unfortunately booked again. The food is really substandard, this time I had trout in almonds, it was a lovely piece of fish, with almonds and nothing else, and the usual veg they bought out was really uninspired. Pudding was a disaster supposed to be an apple... More
