We go to Doolin a couple of times every year and always go to McDermott's for a bit of a session. The grub is lovely and also cheap. Without fail the atmosphere is brilliant and the craic is absolutely 90!! You're guaranteed a good night out or a few quiet ones during the day - whatever you fancy. Great pub

It was actually around this time last year I was home in Ireland showing my Aussie partner the sites. We had been at the Cliffs of Moher and checking out the coast line and then stumbled across McDermotts. The minute we walked in we were so impressed the fire was blazing and the Christmas decoration were great, there was this... More

We had dinner and Guinness's here one night while staying in Doolin up the road! Loved it! The live music was sensational as was the good pub good. Delicious fish and chips (huge! I split it with my sister) and the Guinness was poured to perfection! Would definitely return! Full of authentic Ireland atmosphere!

This place is seething with atmosphere and history - a place where the locals go and many people know each other. But... More

Great food, live band, and Guinness what else can we say. We tried some local favorites and they delighted or taste buds. Hopefully we get a chance to visit here again.

Typical Irish pub with many locals hanging out. Food was great, the staff was wonderful and a very comfortable atmosphere. Walking distance from our B&B. Kind of "off the beaten path" where no tour buses showed up.
