It has it all, great Irish food, plenty of beer, local music almost every night, and a warm atmosphere. We loved it there. Didn't go anywhere else for our 2 nights in Doolin.

The food was great! We had lamb shanks and the fish and chips. Too bad we were too tired to stay for the music!

This was a treat. The food was tasty and fresh and the tunes were superb. Some brilliant players and sound staff. It was nice to visit and speak to some of the tourists from further afield....Made is very proud to be Irish:)

These are the best chips I've had in my 2 trips to Ireland. Warm, local feel for the setting, and loved the fireplace since I was visiting in Nov. (added to the ambiance). Decorated with tons of pictures which I think are always fun to look at, and make an establishment feel a bit more personal, and homey. Friendly, simple,... More

We stopped here with our tour group after visiting the cliffs of moher. We opted for the seafood chowder, beef stew and the chicken vol au vant. Everything tasted amazing and so much flavor. Staff here are super nice. They also have live music but if you are with a tour group, i don't think they play during lunch hours.

My husband is still raving about the hamburger that he had at McGann's! Great atmosphere, lively crowd and the food was terrific! Definitely a great place to get a meal if you are in Doolin!

Have a great meal at McGann's where Thursdays are International Nights, serving food from a different area of the world. Indian was the International choice while I was there, and while I didn't choose it, it was served in a grand fashion, by lovely, friendly, efficient staff dressed in traditional clothing. I thoroughly enjoyed the seafood chowder and smoked salmon... More

The chips were amazing! and I felt like this pub was a perfect addition to my study abroad trip. It is a great place to really experience Ireland, without a lot of the tourist (like Dublin). Great food, great music.

A lively local pub with great music -even on weeknights. Try the hot toddies (whiskies). There were locals and tourists enjoying the festivities. Very friendly atmosphere.

Recommended by local B+B owner and didn't disappoint. Lovely and cosy setting on a cold night! Food very nice for pub grub! Large portions with plenty of choice. Staff really friendly too.
