We were so pleased to find the Packhorse Inn whilst walking a few years ago, and generally break our Hartington/Sheen Hill walk here. It looks great from the outside, and going in does not disappoint. Friendly service, and a decent menu. We'll be back.

We ate here twice during a week's holiday based nearby. The landlord could not have been more welcoming or helpful and his staff were great too. The pub has character, warmth and offers a proper welcome. The food was delicious and locally sourced/prepared. The home-made...More
