Travelling on highway through Italy, we looked for a great place to make a pause and have a good lunch. TripAdvisor made our day by suggesting this almost 5-star Osteria! Very friendly and forthcoming explaining the menu (only in Italian) and preparing special meals for our kids. We had homemade pasta, seafood and meat and it was all delicious! Don't... More

While in Florence for several days we had the opportunity to dine in different locations but chose to dine 3 out of 4 nights at Osteria Di'Giogo. Food was exceptional. We highly recommend it. Simona and her family pour their heart and soul into every dish, and make sure they customize it to your taste. We can't wait to go... More

In very intense 3 hours, Simona took us though the basics of the Tuscan cuisine, with the required adjustments to vegan nutrition. Simona has lots of experience working with vegan cooking and ingredients. Together we made delicious dishes such as a vegan quiche, fagioli all'uccello - white beens with tomato source (that was one of the best dishes I've had... More

Nice place, good food, Tuscan all the way, decent service but with somewhat of an attitude (on the point of being a bit rude. Dining either in the "garden" or in the main area will satisfy. Watch out for parking. street parking may be an issue

During our stay in Florence this little osteria was suggested to us. It was a bit out of town, and not the easiest to find, but the food was excellent, the ambiance cosy, the staff was very attentive and helpful even though our knowledge of the Italian language is poor. I would certainly return in the future.

My family was staying at some near by apartments and we wanted to do something simple. Being American we knew we would be early at 7:15 but the staff was extremely friendly and between my broken Italian and their basic English we had no problem ordering, even though we needed Celiac dishes! It is a nice small place so you... More

Our hotel the Sheraton Firenze recommended this little Osteria hidden in a quiet street nearby. You'll find a friendly, "homey" atmosphere with simple but delicious dishes (ex: trippa Fiorentina, Sliced beef on salad, pasta with anchovies ). The service is amiable and efficient. Practical if you're at the Sheraton but not if you're in the centro città.

We were visiting friends close by and was recommended this cosy osteria.Perfectly relaxed atmosphere, good explanation of the daily specials and recommendations. Our waitress bought various antipasti to taste, followed by a few pasta dishes and a couple of secondi and we even managed desserts and amari/digestives.I thought the kitchen had a lot of imagination and although we were very close to Firenze... We ate here two evenings consecutively because it was so good. If you find yourself in the area try it, you won't be disappointed. Well priced, great food, best steak I have ever had, pasta was also delicious.

I enjoyed eating at this restaurant a few times while visiting friends in the area. Nice relaxed atmosphere, simple yet tasty food, and friendly owners. If you are a tourist looking for an authentic Italian experience try this place! If you are a local I'm sure you already frequent it.
