Staff brilliant from start to finish.. Sardia for check-in and welcome, Luke behind the bar, Lexi in the restaurant and Tania on departure. Room wonderful - nothing lacking. Food excellent and value for money. Locals welcoming in a well laid out decor with blend of old and new. Fantastic atmosphere and a definite revisit! Well done Old House management! You... More

We were a large family of thirteen here for lunch on Easter Saturday. The restaurant was lovely with lots of nooks and crannies. The service was attentive and welcoming especially to the five children we had with us. The restaurant was situated in a sizeable garden with lots of tables and a climbing frame for children. The food was delicious... More

We are regulars for refined food for special family occasions or this time we popped in for a pint and a burger - perfect lovely thick burger. Can't beat it, always a friendly welcome.

Since the suns been out, this has been my favourite pub to sit in... the garden is large with lots of seating yet you're not sat on top of those next to you! Loads of space for the kids to play with a ball or use the climbing frame. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I've only had drinks so far... More

Lovely building and grounds. Sensibly priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is superb, and good wine too. Locals are friendly. Wish we lived closer. We now use this whenever travelling via Gatwick - literally 10 minutes to the North terminal door, thats quicker than queueing for and using a bus from the car park. Will always revisit whenever in... More

Went for a few drinks after work. The pub looks amazing and also has a massive garden. They sell premium largers for very reasonable prices, cheaper than most places in the area. Unfortunately didn't get to try the food but the menu looks top draw. The general manager and other staff take the time to have a chat and make... More

We were flying from Gatwick early in the morning, so we stayed the night nearby. We'd had a fabulous meal here before, so wanted to go back. We arrived early for our prebooked table, the small lounge area was very busy but the friendly bar man quickly served us. Our table was ready, so we went through. It's such a... More
