I could not find a menu online, so I called and ordered what I usually do at Haru. It was my first time here, so you'd think they'd care about my experience. When I got there I was told my order wasn't ready yet (45 min wait time too!!) I paid and opened a menu to see what was in... More

A small resteruant with traditional Japanese decor is situated in the corner of the town of Armstrong. Very suitable for a short stay and to please hungry belly on the way of driving. The food here makes me pleasantly surprised. Did not expect food is very original. Because the owner is a silent Japanese man, his wife is very friendly... More

I have been in Japan and like Japanese cuisine. That is why I like this restaurant. The cook is really from Japan and the food is taste as good as in Japan. The staff and the owner are always friendly. It is important that the prices are reasonable. I have been in this restaurant mostly for a lunch with my... More

My partner and I usually eat here weekly, it's some of the best Japanese food I've had, and hands down the best in the Okanagan area. Their lunch bento boxes are great value and quality for either eating in or taking out. If you like Japanese food and are in the area be sure to check this place out!

We both had the bent box. The sushi was dry, the teriyaki chicken should be put on top of the rice, the edamme beans were good, the shrimp was good but the noodles were a bit cold. Service was good but we were the only ones in there at the time.

A tiny hole in the wall place in the tiny sleepy town of Armstrong. Four of us all had the daily special, a choice of teriyaki chicken or beef with 5 small pieces of roll sushi, either sunomono or yakisoba and another side dish. All of this served with green tea and miso soup. Our server was very attentive. Average... More

This was recommended, and deservedly so. The menu is not huge, but the sushi we had was fresh and well made. We had to have a second order of Panko Shrimp served sizzling hot with warnings from the delightful waitress.

This is a very authentic master sushi chef that is the owner along with his wife as they create some of the best and freshest sushi we have ever eaten! We loved every bit of what we ordered. And to conclude the meal with their ice cream balls encased with a soft rice batter was just so different and amazing.... More

We went for a quick lunch. At hour and a half later we were fed and full. The food was great a bit expensive. We had the bento boxes which come with miso soup. I don't like miso soup and the waitress (who I think is the owner) asked me very rudely if I have had theirs. Yes I have... More
