I have eaten here twice before and the food has been fantastic both times and the garden is lovely. So we decided to book a table of 18 as we had family from overseas visiting. We were seated upstairs which was a really nice space and the waitress was really helpful and gave us table numbers so we could pay... More

We were a group of 4 adults and two youing children so we were seated upstairs in a private room which was very nice. It is a quant place to eat and drink. The service was very good, the food was averag. It took some time for the food to come and not everything was available. The lamb and the... More

went for Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday. We phoned the mobile number on the website before 11am on Easter Saturday to book a table only to find when we arrived they did not know about it. Anyway they managed to put us on a table upstairs. I was a bit apprehensive that they were not fully booked up for Easter... More

The Plough and attic not only gave us a 10/10 family like treatment but welcomed us in a way we felt at home. It was a gorgeous sunny day which made it all so much better. We sat next to the fireplace in a low ceiling room with perfect temperature. Excellent food, stunning pub and rear garden and a 10/10... More

An overnight stay next door lead us to the quiz at this pub, the ceiling are low so mind your head. We didn't eat so can't review that but the hospitality and the cider on pump were perfect. Pipped to the post for a bottle of wine for best team name, 'no table at the inn' - honestly it made... More

Fabulous cosy 16C pub with friendly staff and what looked to be a fantastic menu on offer. We popped in for drinks after dinner at our hotel and we're welcomed enthusiastically by the staff despite the late hour. As we enjoyed a couple of drinks we got talking and the manager treated us to a tour around the upstairs attic... More

I think this was our 4th visit in the last 10 months and went for the half price Fillet steak. Went for the medium rare and it was all fantastic. Cooked really well. The environment of the pub is also first class, very clean and the service was very good. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying the garden. Highly... More

Enjoyed an early birthday treat. We went upstairs to the attic rooms - a lovely half timbered building with an open fire - superb. The food was great and the service was perfect (thanks Reg and team). Definitely a place to visit again!

We went for lunch in this beautiful 16th Century pub which is full of character and atmosphere with its original old beams and low ceilings. The lovely staff are warm, welcoming and attentive. Our choice of main courses were Lamb Shank, Beef, Venison and Merlot pie and Scampi and chips and we all thought them incredibly good. Light lunch of... More
