Why wait for dinner to have cheese fondue? Here, the fondue is as good as any we've ever dipped up. The food and service was so good that we went back the next day where we enjoyed other offerings from the top of the menu....More
This place doesn't feature high on many lists of where to eat in Briancon but I found that the food matched many 'better' restaurants in Briancon. Friendly and unhurried service added to the experience and I'll probably return when I'm next in Briancon.
We wanted to eat in the very picturesque Cite de Vauban, and my husband and I wanted our friends to taste either raclette or tartiflette. We all ended up sharing raclette served in the traditional style and it was a delicious, leisurely meal.
Very enjoyable lunch of raclette (my first experience) huge slab of cheese to eat as much as you want ( min 2 people) new potatoes, and pickles..... good wine. Friendly service and reasonably priced. Great for a break from the skiing!
Ate here on a Sunday evening when almost every restaurant in the old town was closed. The place was empty when we arrived, but that is not indicative of either the service or the food. We tried the omelette, the chevreflette, and pastas....all were excellent....More
