We like eating out and do it very regularly. This is the first time we have been here. I was amazed by the quality and price of the Sunday carvery and would challenge anyone to find a better one anywhere. Absolutely lovely!!!!!

Having been to this pub previously we thought it would be OK for Sunday lunch after spending time on the beautiful coast path. How wrong we were. The landlady was rude and seemed surprised when we didn't want the only one white wine she had. The food was uninspiring although fresh as we were there early. When we asked if... More

If you are desperate and everywhere else is full then eat here. Unfortunately my meat was tasteless, the roast potatoes swimming in oil and they had run out of vegetables when I went up. I wouldn't go again.

A good choice for Sunday lunch as there is plenty of space for dining. On a Monday evening it was fairly quiet but the landlady was extremely friendly and welcoming. It's nearby the local caravan site and diners and overnight guests return year on year so I imagine it's busy during the holidays. The outside seating area and garden have... More

We stopped here on the way back to Weymouth May 2016 - Saturday - although the food took 15 mins - when you are hungry feels like longer than anticipated - but I can assure you it was well worth the wait - 2 steaks and 2 home made steak and mushroom pies - the meat melted in your mouth... More

We stopped here on our journey, the pub is still a good place, the staff are polite and helpful, good car park, but that's where it ends, I ordered the burger, my wife had a curry, my burger pate was loaded with onion and served in a stale roll, the coleslaw was not good either, the chips were strange and... We stopped here by chance yesterday lunchtime, hoping for a light lunch and a drink. As it turned out, they were not fully staffed (it being a Monday lunchtime in early May) and could offer only toasted sandwiches, which we declined, but another couple there ordered them, and they looked very good, freshly made and attractively served with a side...
