great food, good price and a very clean neat and tidy restaurant. You can see the kitchen when you walk in through the back entrance (yes they have one) and it was spotless...that is a very good sign. Never been disappointed here..

Lovely light, fresh food, well cooked. Lim's Kitchen is the best Chinese food I have eaten I'm a long time. Well worth a visit!

Recently discovered this restaurant and been there 5/6 times already. Excellent food, great menu, down to earth atmosphere and friendly owner. My husband's favorite dishes are beef in special sauce and crispy garlic prawns. Being a vegetarian, my favorite is Tofu and vegetables stir fly. I've been vegetarian for over 40 years now and this dish is one of the... More

We dined here with some locals who frequent this restaurant. The food was fresh, delicious & quick to arrive. The menu was extensive, and was some of the best Chinese I've tasted. They have high chairs to accommodate babies and toilets out the back of the restaurant. There is also front and rear parking available, and a takeaway option. it's... More

Whether it's takeaway or dine in, the food is good when it comes! Basic surroundings, nothing flash - except the food. Great flavours, generous serves and fair pricing.

This has been my favorite restaurant in Newcastle / Lake for over a decade. They are always friendly. Extremely busy at times with both take away and dine in. Lovely outlook opposite the Lake. All the food is so fresh and beautifully presented.

Lims have the best ever Chinese food. Food is reasonably priced and always delicious. Recommend booking however, as its always busy.

My husband and i ate here recently, we had ordered takeaway from here before and had a slight idea of the service we would receive. The older head waitress (possible owner) is very abrupt and not good at dealing with the public at all, not a people person. But that aside the food was better, though the entree of squid... More

Second time I have attempted take away here. First time not so bad as far as the order except for an incorrect meal but the food itself was bland and horrible also. You may ask then why I would try it again (convienience) but I did and this time it was worse. After ordering 20min earlier still had to wait... More

This Asian restaurant has been a feature of the Warners Bay/Lake Macquarie dining scene for over 20 years. I have eaten here numerous times, both dine in and takeaway. The fit out is basic and is noisy at times when busy plus service is no frills but fast and efficient, however the food is very good. Large portions are served,... More
