Had dinner here last week and the Steak and Kidney Pie was to die for! Really tasty and tender and melt in the mouth puff pastry, so often pastry is a damp squib as lots of places do not cook it through. Whenever we discuss where shall we eat, we both always say Jolly Farmers. It is the most friendliest pub for miles. The food is top class, great choice and always cooked to perfection.Great choice of beers and wines. See you soon. Alan & Ann Oxley

Wonderful food and host Dan creates a warm welcoming atmosphere. Great for children-gourmet food in kids portions too.

We eat here most Friday nights. The food is very good indeed and good value compared to some other places nearby which are also very good but a bit smarter and more expensive. We love the ambience at the JFs - you can dress up or down and not feel out of place and the staff are very friendly and... More

Not wanting the Sunday roasts my wife decided she would have rabbit pie and I would have scampi. Both were well cooked ,served and presented and I would call again. Only negative was the whole place looks as though it could use some love and tender care as I thought it looked a bit tired.

Yet another fabulous pub meal, with perfect Timothy Taylors beer. I always have the same starter, just because it's so good, deep fried poached egg on top of a large field mushroom on top of black pudding, with some bits of crispy bacon pieces. Brilliant. Then I had halibut, firm slices falling off the steak. My wife had a 12... More

We moved to the area today so came to have our evening meal at the pub. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to come back to enjoy this more often ❤️
