Relaxing enjoying a cup of coffee at this cafe. Beautiful set up and Antique design with wooden structure.
There are also western food serve a night ( 5pm onward) next door of the cafe. The lighting and surrounding was nice except some mosquito after 7...pm. Ok no complaint as my kids like the fun and unique design of the cafe and surroundingMore

Gopeng Antique Kopitiam
Now reopening ! Time is still the same, food is still the same ! ? Don't worry just temporarily ! In the future, they will change...recipes and add " Karaoke Room " and "Hong Kong Dim Sum " that we are looking forward to ! Friends and tourist who come to the Gopeng Town can enjoy the delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.! Don't miss it !
They have western and Asian dishes. Two different kitchen for each cuisines. Should just stick to Asian dishes as no one will order western food. Knowing that everyone orders Asian cuisine, should convert their western kitchen to a Asian kitchen so that you don't tell...your customers that you have to order western food because Asian kitchen is full...More
We only dropped by for a bite. Ordered a meat platter. Loved the decor of this place but there were mozzies attacking me!!! The cooks are young men. Nice to see them trying to make this place work in a small town like Gopeng.
Very nice vintage atmosphere and worth visiting for some photos. The food on the other hand is just normal. The one I found good was the smoked duck, salmon and sausage.
Prices are reasonable and parking is easy to find.
Stepping into Gopeng Antique Kopitiam is like stepping back into the 1920s. The layout is like a mini village with indoor and outdoor seatings of antique-looking tables and chairs and one of the "homes" resembles a mini museum. We arrived for dinner at 6pm and...our outdoor seating was pleasantly comfortable and cool (the whole place is equipped with industrial-like fans). For cooler options, there is an air-conditioned "home". For the adventurous, you can even dine in an old bus!
What really stood out about this place is the many locations you can pick to have your meal - upstairs, ground floor, indoors, outdoors, indoor with fans, indoor with air-con, open outdoor, outdoor in a pavilion, etc. and yes, in a bus. Fascinating! And they have an equally extensive menu of Asian and Western food.
But here's where the fascination ends. We had the curry fish head (watery and sweet, lacks zing!) stir-fried vegetables, chicken spaghetti bolognese (too salty and skimps on chicken and cheese) and mushroom soup (taste like Campbell's). My chrysanthemum drink was too sweet.
The day before, hubby tried the chicken chop and fried kuew teow. Both, he said, were forgettable.
In a nutshell, this is the kind of place I would be inclined to bring visitors/tourists to IF they improve on their food quality. So for now, I won't be returning anytime soon.More

What a surprise. This place are hidden in Gopeng small town. Recommended by Mr Ooi a friend owner of MyGopeng. Hungry and just go there. Very oldish boutique outlook. Once inside staff welcome us. Ordered mix platter and fried rice salted egg, cockles. Drink cucumber...sour sop. Nice combination of food. But the environment is really nice. They have open area and indoor.More
