Ordered a Big Breakfast for lunch. They had run out of spinach so gave me mushrooms instead. I felt like they could have seasoned it more. Great location opposite the train. People eat at places like this in Guildford because there's not much choice!

Recently went for breakfast. Was very nice and very reasonable. Nice friendly service. In the heart of Guildford strip.

First time in Guildford, looking for a tasty lunch and boy did we find it. Basic tables on the pavement outside and simple menu. But wow the food was excellent. I had the ploughmans (see picture)and it was really tasty and filling. My wife had the Spinach and Feta Quiche. Equally tasty. Service was very friendly and efficient. All reasonably... More

I have been coming to this place for years and never leave without a massive smile, amazing food at good prices and the friendliest staff you'll ever meet. Must try the chicken soup! ☺️

The food remains excellent - particularly the breakfasts. Walls have been knocked out to maximise the indoor space in this iconic tearoom. This brightens up the place but makes it way to noisy and not ideal to enjoy a visit with family or friends. The coffee servery and machines are too loud. Some of the tables still sport the decades... More

staff were very unwilling to help to accommodate my order requirements. I was asked to change my order and pick something else from the menu. all I wanted was a cheese burger chips and banana milkshake?

We having been coming to the Tea Rooms for a few years whether it's for breakfast, lunch or simply a coffee and cake. We have always found the staff to be efficient, friendly and very obliging. We like the full breakfast, my daughter always has the chicken soup no matter what time of day. I think the menu covers most... More

our neighbor actually suggested we stop in here for brunch - I had a very reasonable plate of scrambled eggs and bacon (my usual) and I was happy enough but my wife and kids were not at all so flattering - if I returned I would be on my own I feel....

Visited here late afternoon for coffee and cake. One of a few places still open. The front of the café put me off and I didn't have high expectations, but the coffee was particularly good and the cake was also good. The inside is rather unusual and unexpected, a pleasant experience.

Thank Cici C
