On our recent visit to this restaurant before flying back to HK we had the chicken parmigiana which was a special offer that night according to the waitress. However when we had paid we realised that the teller had charged full price. We email the company and have yet to receive a response. Mt advice is if your in a... More

A group of us recently had dinner at the Stirling Arms before attending an excellent show at the quaint Garrett Theatre (couldn't book the Guildford for dinner) across the road. The pub is old and the decor is so, so, the beer garden is however ok, however it has plenty of parking and is across the road from the theatre.... More

Three lovely meals - pork belly, fish and chips and chicken parmigiana. Looking very fresh salads, light batter and tasty twice fried chips. Pork belly was crunchy and presented simply but appealing to the eye. Polite and welcoming staff who added to the experience. We'll be back, thank you for the lovely lunch.

My brother and I enjoyed our meal at this gem of a restaurant. The service was a little slow, but the food made up for that. We enjoyed ourselves and would return in the future.

Meals overpriced and small for a pub meal. Not much choice of tap beer. Glasses dirty and beer flat. Could do with cleaning their beer lines. Sirloin average and overpriced and the garlic sauce tasted almost chemical. The atmosphere is very dated and unwelcoming. Service average. I would expect this of a cheap country pub but not with the prices... More

As usual the meal was very good however disappointed the dining room is only open after 6pm and for Sunday lunch. Sitting in the bar area was a bit off

Attended the main dining room with friends on a Thursday night. The place had a number of parties there and we were greeted on entering and quickly shown to our seats. The menu was extensive and we ordered six entrée's to start - and a good way to sample a range of foods. The pork belly strips were very good... More
