This was our last night on the Big Island and we wanted to have a great dinner. Tommy Bahama was a perfect way to end our vacation. It is a great looking restaurant with open air dining. The food was great. My wife their coffee crusted ribeye. I tried the macadamia nut mahi mahi. My son had the filet medallions... More

Dinner for two! Sat outside, listened to the live music and dinner was perfect! Catch of the day, Mahi Mahi, for me and my husband had the special of the day, sword fish. We had no room for dessert! It was our first time coming here and it won't be our last!

All of the food is exceptional, I had the Mahi Mahi as well as their Tortilla Soup the first visit and hands down had the best meal on the table - which is a touch comparison when it all was phenomenal. We went back a second time during our stay with a major factor being how unbelievably good their Key... More

On our first full day on the big island, we wanted to find a nice place for two couples to go for dinner. We were VERY pleased with Tommy Bahama. Beth, our server, was very knowledgeable about every detail of their food and was great with helping my wife with gluten-free options. The food was delicious and the drinks were... More

Not a bad place to get out of your hotel's restaurants. Service was adequate as well as the food. Prices are Hawaii normal for mid-scale food.

Three of went for dinner. We were greeted and seated right away. Waited for server to greet and bring drinks. Crab cakes weren't good, mushy. Ribs ok, pork chop was good, beet salad was good. Over all it was a pleasant experience but just too expensive.

We had heard good reviews of this place so we had dinner there While staying at the nearby Fairmont Orchid. Sure enough, the food was good and well priced and the service was outstanding. The location is a shopping center and the view is the parking lot. but it is a good respite from the hotel restaurants.

The Big Island doesn't have the greatest and certainly not cheapest food in the US, but Tommy Bahama's offers a good happy hour, good drinks, and good food in a peppy atmosphere.

Went there somewhat last minute and really enjoyed it. Great food and great service. Decent prices for island dining. We made same day reservations but it was a Tuesday so wasn't difficult.

We made reservations for dinner on a Friday night and upon arriving, found the restaurant extremely busy. Drink service was incredibly slow and the service personnel seemed very rushed which clashed with the lay back atmosphere of the restaurant. Appetizers arrived before our drinks. Food arrived in a timely manner and was delicious. Loved the ahi tacos, pork sliders, appetizers... More
