Visited with 4 friends in January for my birthday. The restaurant was very quiet and service was pretty slow so wouldn't like to see it when it is busy. The food was lovely, fish and chips were really nice - probably the best I have had in a restaurant. We went up to pay separately and the server had no... More

This place is in the most "out of the way" location you could imagine, but the drive is well worth it, as the road takes you through wonderful countryside, and then you arrive at the Marina complex, literally round a bend! It was completed only last year, and we visited the café only on the day we visited. This was... More

The setting is wonderful. The restaurant is bright, cheerful and spotlessly clean. The service is very good. I am sorry that I differ from most recent reviews but I consider that the food is average. The main course of hake is £15 and if you wish vegetables it is £3 for a tiny little dish. If you want French fries... More

My husband friend and I are just back from our 6th visit to the marina. Absolutely fabulous. The townhouse excellent. Spotless. Marina restaurant terrific choice, breakfast is excellent. Great choice, staff very very helpful. The spa is out of this world. You can't quite believe being in the infinity pool in spring in Scotland. The views fabulous. It's such a... More

We would never have found this had it not been for the knowledge of family who live in Scotland as it does appear to be on the road to nowhere! having said that, it is a journey with quite stunning scenery and well worth the time it takes to get there..... this place has so much more than the restaurant... We were greeted by Denise at reception who showed us to our wonderful two storey apartment overlooking the marina - book this if possible - then went for dinner. To say we were stunned at the quality of the food is an understatement - amazing and really well served, quality food and cooking. Breakfast is not to the same quality,... More

Shop was a tad expensive for what it sold, but it is a lovely setting and if you are into boats, I am sure you will love it.
