Great food. Everything is fresh and made by the restaurant. Generous portions. Make sure you have your phone map/GPS as little hard to find.

A lovely small traditional Italian restaurant, tucked away in the middle of the village , sign posted so you can find it . The food was excellent and the choice of wines was good too . Try this place if your nearby it’s excellent. Take...the road that goes past the front of the Railway station via Vittorio Veneto sp 127 as it’s wider , turn off the main road Corso Roma sp 229 opposite the Q8 garage . Many thanks to all for a very nice evening , all the best for the future .More
The restaurant have a good Place, menu and service it was very good! Thanks for this moment and your kindness.
Lovely little restaurant- excellent traditional cooking with a modern twist. Wonderful service from staff. Would highly recommend but parking is not easy.
Osteria San Martino may be a bit tricky to find but definately worth of the effort. The atmosphere and serviec are simply great. Also the menu featuring traditional dishes is mouth watering and reasonably priced. The wine list was also truly appelaing. Very strong recommendation.
We had dinner here at our arrival in Pettenasco. Food was amazing, and service of top level. Great wine list too. It is in a back street so can’t find it by chance. Lovely set up. We will be back for sure.
WE have eaten here twice now and have loved it each time. The fiood is excellent, not pretentious and you will not go away hungry. The wines are good and it is always full with local people and tourists alike. It is difficult to find...and parking is not great. We tried to get a taxi but it was too expensive as the taxi would hav come out from Orta to take us. In the end we drove ourselves and cut back on the wine. But still an excellent evening outMore

We have been coming to Italy many times over the past 20 years or so, and have visited many different locations from Tuscany and north of the country. This year we are here with a group of 11, and I found Osteria San Martino using...Trip Advisor. And it did not disappoint. We all had a wonderful experience from the youngest (15) to the oldest (79) in our group. To start, meandering the quiet, narrow passages to find this place was quite enjoyable and impactful for the time we had. The staff was extremely pleasant, helpful, readily available, and was able to easily communicate (in english) with those in our group who couldn't understand italian. The food was excellent of course, and everyone was able to to find things on the menu that satisfied them, from salads, pasta, risotto, seafood, and more. The wine selections were very nice compliments to the meal, from the Piedmont region, and very reasonably priced compared to an equivalent US restaurant. We were there from 7:30 to almost 11 and had quite the superb italian dining experience through all of the courses. We had a real pleasant conversation with the chef as we were preparing to depart, which really made our time very personal and congenial. Our family has dined in many locations throughout Italy but we will never forget this experience amongst them. The fact that there were many other guests (presumably locals) at the restaurant with us is a strong testament to the high quality. I highly recommend a visit here if you are in the Pettenasco region. I am certain you won't regret it.More
Little rooms with stones in the walls. Nice food, with a decent wine list. I've got the antipasto misto, which gave me an overview of the cuisine. Parking is outside the old town, once it is very hard to move with a car inside it.
This restaurant was highly recommended and did not disappoint. It is well off the beaten track and required a taxi from nearby Pettenasco but was well worth it. You would never just come across this place up in the hills. The food and service were...both excellent and the restaurant s a lovely cosy setting for dinner. Thoroughly enjoyable.More
Perfect for rainy and cold evenings. Cute rustic setting. Inspiring menu, local cuisine. Fresh and quality ingredients. Excellently executed. Very kind staff. Good wine card.
This is a hidden little gem in a tiny hamlet, just off the road to Pettenasco at Lago d’Orta. The staff were extremely courteous and hospitable. They went to great lengths to meet the dietary difficulties of my wife and served her a simple but...very tasty meal for a very reasonable price. The dish I had was the special of the day, not without reason as it was delicious. Highly recommended!More
The location is amazing, really authentic and the food was incredible. Especially the self-made pasta is recommendable. The restaurant is located in the middle of the yard of a beautiful house on the hills.
Already getting there you realise it's a special place, it's nicely hidden in an old house in a small village. Nice welcome with Prosecco. Meat was one of the best I ever had.
