We'd visited not long after they opened and have been back several times since. We came to watch the boxing the other night. It was quite busy but that's to be expected when there's a big fight on. There was a really good atmosphere and...More

Great pub, friendly busy staff. Good selection of beers and wines, just an awkward location to get a taxi anywhere after about 10pm.More

Could you advise if you are dog friendly? Can we bring our well behaved dog and have something to eatt? There are very few restaurants in the Ripley and Alfreton area that cater for dogs so hoping the horse and jockey are the exception. From a dog owner that loves good food.
