Been here for dinner at the sushi bar. The restaurant itself is very nice, a bit on the costly side. All the food we have ordered was very good. Overall nice experience. I recommend.

As a lover of Japanese food, it is always wonderful to discover a restaurant that has its own interpretation of taste and preparation on the cuisine, if done correctly. Zen offers some unique dishes that are absolutely delicious. This place is worth a visit. Only turnoff was the Filipino stand-in trying to be Benihana.

We were lots of people dining and everyone else was very happy with their dish but us a few people who had the rib eye which tasted a bit off and was very well done wvwn though ordered it medium-rare. Also got diarrhea right after eating so assuming it had to do with the food. Took quite long to get... More

Very positive reviews here on TripAdvisor and thought it would be worth a visit. However, can you please judge yourself and tell me whether 30 pieces of sushi (15 pieces per person) could amount to over €100.00? (Including a half bottle of wine and water) A starter, consisting of 6 thin rectangular-sliced tuna pieces costed €22.00. Including this for accuracy... More

Amazing service and quality for a traditional Teppanyaki in Malta. Both menu, the one for the teppan and the one for the other dishes, are plenty of good suggestion. The master cook will leave you without words.

Great location, overviewing the upscale marina in front of the Hilton hotel, and refined service for a brilliant night out. Food, in perfect Japanese style, was amazing both in presentation and taste. Prices are quite high but absolutely in line with the noteworthy experience.

Zen was Malta's first Japanese restaurant and it is still widely regarded to be the best, with a wide selection of specialities and delicacies including miso soup, sushi, sashimi, vegetable & prawn tempura, as well as fish, meat and vegetarian dishes traditionally cooked and served in our Teppanyaki private room.

The contemporary style of the restaurant blends effortlessly with the chic menu, providing an all-round, Japanese-style dining experience.

Japanese cuisine is a ritual in itself - a celebration of time-honoured traditions, fresh ingredients and charming hospitality. Our knowledgeable staff will be happy to guide you - whether this is your first taste of Japanese cuisine or the latest of many!
