Food average, service a good 30 minute wait for meals to arrive. Food nothing to write home about. I feel I should mention the fact that on the night I was there which was table booked for 6- 30 pm it was very noisy. To make matters even worse the men sitting on a table behind me were using a... We came here for afternoon lunch. The menu is quite small so we opted for burgers. The food came out fairly quickly and was delicious, the home made chips were spot on. The prices are very reasonable. The decor is beautiful. Would return

Good value, good quality food. Nice surroundings and good size garden area for eating out in summer months. Plenty of car parking.

Went on Mother's day with the wife and her family. The wife is vegetarian but there was no vegetarian option on the Mother's day set menu. We enquired and told it would just be the roast dinner without the meat. Not really an acceptable option in this day and age. We made further enquiries and eventually the waitress said they... More

Visited on a Thursday evening .We booked our meal for 7pm as Thursday is quiz night. The food was very well presented and tasted as good as it looked. This is the first time that I have visited the Mill House since it was refurbished and I will be visiting again.

Food was awful. I had the BBQ burger and the burger tasted something off a burger van, not proper beef at all. Chips were bland and tasteless. Ordered onion rings for a side and they just tasted of pure grease. Was really disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there. Definitely won't be visiting again

Popped in for a midweek early meal and we were pleasantly surprised! Firstly the refurb has turned the dark, drab old pub into a rather swish brasserie style venue. The waitress was helpful and friendly and I thought the complimentary savoury salted popcorn a nice novelty touch and a healthier alternative to crisps. I had Welsh Dragon sausages and mash... More

I visited on a Saturday evening to find the pub quite quiet which did make me wonder why, however the food and service were lovely. The lighting in one area was very cold and made it look uninviting whilst the other half was warmly lit and looked great. The menu is quite limited but I feel reasonably priced for the... More

The new refurbished look is well done and the menu has really been improved. Went for the Ribeye which was an excellent choice. Toilets are at ground level and there is ample car parking available. Overall a good choice and a decent selection at the bar as well including that extra chilled Heineken!

My wife and I visited this suburban pub/restaurant a couple of weeks ago one lunchtime during the week. It has been very pleasantly refurbished and has a spacious beer garden as well as a large car park. The welcome and service was topped only by the tasty food and although it is slightly more expensive than some local pubs that... More
