I went on recommendation from a friend to check this out for a girls evening out when I return to Jerez. As a solo diner I felt relaxed and was made to feel very welcome. The waiter was very helpful in recommending a tasty plethora of dishes. The Tuna Tartar was delightful. They have a great selection of wines and... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. Having eaten tapas every night for dinner for over a week now, we were thrilled to visit a restaurant that offers interesting main courses. We had the wild pork with hummus and chochinita pibil sauce. Really quite good. I also had the tuna steak with the Japanese-style salad. Very great flavors and well executed.

Excellent food, preparation, ingredients, taste, service...you name it! And do splurge on one or two expensive (10 euros or more) 30 year old Jerez (Sherry) glasses. They have a choice of about 40 wines from 2 to 20 euros/glass and the waiter will kindly advise you. At 10 euros or more per glass you get an otherworldly experience. Prices of... More

Lunch after the Andalusian horse show. Starters of 1. smoked anchovy and 2. mushrooms with spinach and a wonderful sauce - some of the best I have eaten. Mains corvina - perfectly cooked and tuna which was a disappointment, not the best cut and a tad overcooked. Service good, waiter and I struggled with English/Spanish.

Very nice place to dining. Setas a la crema was to die for. Nice bottle of wine from tierra de Cádiz and great ambience make the evening perfect. We have starters, mains and deserts + wine, coffees and bottle of water. Cost of this pleasure was around 80 euro. 👍👍👍😍

Normally we rave about this restaurant but unfortunately this time we had a disappointing meal. We chose one of our favourite dishes the tuna tartare to find they had replaced the normal biscuits that come with it with inferior ones and the tuna itself wasn’t the quality it needs to be for tartare, it looked liked they had mixed up... I have been to Albala with my family and we had a great lunch there. All dishes were good, tuna, lamb, rabo de toro and lomo de jabalin. Cooking is done in a modern way even though the base dish is quite traditional. Desserts are good too, abricot cheese cake and kinder surprise were worth a go. The location is in a... More

I'll be honest, we were looking for a place with WiFi so we could reset our Maps for our next journey and we happened on this place and decided on lunch. When in Jerez have sherry. My amontillado was perfect for the Iberian Jamon I ordered and the crisp Sauvignon Blanc was the perfect match for the wonderful Tuna Tartare.... More

The menu is Spanish but with some interesting little twists showing some real imagination. We shared a view tapa and had a main each in both cases fish which was superb. The wine list was good we had a superb Rioja but started with a couple of sherries really special. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we would... More
