We had a meal here which we combined with a fjord safari snow shoe hike tour. Im this package included the tour and the viking plank at the brewery. When we arrived it was a really lovely looking building, and very quiet. There was one guy behind the bar who i think was the manager and he soon seated us... More

After a Fjord tour with my girlfriend, we returned to Flam and despite limited options we couldn't have been happier with our choice to dine here. The restaurant itself is everything I wanted from a Norwegian dining experience, decked out in driftwood to resemble a Viking eatery and a tall circular chimney made it very snug when it was cold... Visited this Brew/pub on a rainy day and arrived for an early dinner. We each had the Viking plank which included the beer pairing and it was really good! YUM! Food and atmosphere was wonderful and would definitely recommend if you are in Flam for dinner! Enjoyed the carvings and definite Norse feel to the dining space. Norse mythology lessons... More

Push open the big wooden doors and you're met with pure Norse; everything is carved from wood, even the chandelier. A huge circular open fire welcomes and warms you as you are greeted by friendly staff offering delicious food and drink. Not cheap (Norway is expensive) but well worth a visit. We loved it.

Surprisingly delicious meal in a very touristy little town with limited dining choices. We enjoyed a 5-course meal with beer tasting and it was superb, genuine gourmet fare. We dined here a second night and had venison burger, and fish & seafood soup and again had a very enjoyable meal. The decor was "Viking-like" and the service was good.

Although food is very expensive, it is totally worth visiting. Nice fire place and the Vikings vibes are everywhere!

Aegir really is the only decent place to eat in Flam and the area, and we found we ate most of our meals here during our stay. Luckily the food was hearty and good (welcome after long days of hiking).

The atmosphere was nice (cozy, bit touristy though), and the food was alright. Very overpriced. It was nice of them to make a vegetarian burger, but it was what you would expect for something not on a menu - some okay supermarket rissole. - it also cost almost the same amount as the venison burger. The blueberry cream with the... More

Is a cold and freezing day, thinking want to have a good meal, based on other reviews of Aegir Brewery n pub, decided to go on. It is Viking kind of decoration inner, fire place at central, upper floor for dinner, lower floor for drinks. I'd choose the Viking plank, tapas type of dishes with beers. 5 types of beers... More
