All dishes are reasonably priced and the portions are adequate too. Cost was very reasonable - egg roll, sweat and sour chicken and a half bottle of house white and a bottle of mineral water was only 14 euros. The restaurant was spotless and the food was tasty. Would definitely go back

Very good service by the lad out front. However I have to say that the food was not up to scratch. Starters of spring rolls and bbq ribs were actually quite good. However the Wan Ton soup was over salty and wan ton itself didnt quite taste right. Wife had pineapple chicken with fried rice. Chicken was average and the... More

Good food, didn't overpower you with food although there was plenty, good choice on menu, excellent service. Would recommend a visit.

Food was to a worse standard than some bad takeaways back in the uk. Service was rude, we did not want dessert so the waiter decided to be short with us. You get a good amount of food but it isn't restaurant quality, especially when where are so many other good restaurants in monte gordo. We didn't see the point... More

I've been here several times throughout the years and the things have been constant. The strong points are the location, decent food and the price. What could improve is really the service (in particular if you're Portuguese, if you're a tourist from abroad you'll be fine) and food could be better, but then it would be pricier. There's a guy... I have tried Palacio da China many times over the years and really have never disappointed me. It is true that quality have decreased ever so slightly but overall and considering the price I still recommend it and still think is decent value, socially comparing to some Chinese in UK. Fast and efficient service, unfortunately fried ice cream isn't as... More

Going here was a big mistake. We were taken in by the decorative entrance. To start off, there was bleach in and around the wash basin in the ladies restroom, which they forgot to tell us about, completely ruining my wife's dress. The quality of the food was very poor. The spare ribs were stewed rather than fried and lacked... More

Lovely Chinese restaurant, reasonably priced, tasty food and friendly, helpful staff. Not a great deal of choice for vegetarians, a few vegetable dishes but no tofu dishes. Worth a visit.
