This restaurant is a must, at least once, on your visit to Gozo. It's location just on the sea over looking Imjarr harbor, with all the boats bobbing up and down at their moorings gives the place that tranquil atmosphere difficult to find any where. We were there for lunch with the family, seven adults and three children. It's not... More

The menu revolves (quite rightly) around the daily catch which is brought to your table for your inspection. The staff recommended baked in white when and garlic was the perfect way to cook our fish selection that was expertly filleted at our table. Awesome lunch!

We returned here after many months away and were reminded of what a superb location this restaurant has. One can sit indoors or outdoors overlooking the boats in the harbour in Mgarr and seeing the Gozo Channel Ferry coming back and forth. Service is welcoming and helpful. The menu is traditional with the array of pastas, fish and meat one... More

Had the mussels and the insalata and two glass of wine. Everything excellent. Though it was not that busy, it took them forever to get the wine out. They forgot about the water we ordered. They layed out plates for bread, forgot about the bread. And, yes, I could have asked. But they claimed on the first page of their... More

Excellent choice of menu which included various choice for gluten free or other allergic patrons. One can just cross over by ferry from Marfa Malta to Mgarr Gozo take a pleasant walk along the coast and find the restaurant. Most attentive and cordial staff. Owner mingled with patrons too. Dogs were allowed on the outside dining area and were even... More

Stopped here for an impromptu lunch and were very happy we did. Situated in a prominent position in the Mgarr marina, the outside seating provides for a lovely setting in this smart but casual restaurant, helped by the fact that is was a sunny day. The menu is small but covers the usual options from soup of the day, salad,... More

During a tour of Gozo we stopped in Mġarr for lunch, looking around the harbour vicinity the Porto Vecchio looked to be the smartest and set a little way off the main roads. The outdoor dining area on the harbour side was very clean and with great views. The menu was quite varied and the service excellent. The Foie Gras risotto... More

We've been here many times, both with friends and with family, and have always enjoyed it. In summer, it's great to sit outside and enjoy the harbour view, and in winter it's very cosy and welcoming inside. The fish is always very fresh and well cooked and I always love their pork cheeks. The soup of the day is really... More

Very obvious choice when one is in Mgarr... location is very visible. The menu is a bit limited and pricey. We had mixed seafood to share for 2. But if one wants '' frito misto seafood '' this one is sauted but it was good. No sidings included. Service is fast and cordial. Good wine list.
