Read reviews about the restaurant & decided to stop by for lunch on the way back to KL. Service was swift & friendly. We ordered a steam patin which was excellent, and the famous river prawn bee hoon. The prawn dish was not as flavourful...as I hoped it to be, just so-so. More salty & gingery than anything else. Can't taste the natural sweetness of the prawn at all. The bee hoon dish with ONE prawn costed RM60. The restaurant presumes RM12 for 500g prawn at minimum. Bonus: restaurant located behind vegetable & fruit stalls. A fly flew into one of our rice & got stuck. Hygiene is an issue here. Would not recommend.More

Our usual stopover for a meal whenever we are in the "neighbourhood". The quality of dishes has always been consistent and it was no different this time around. The steamed river prawns were fresh and the steamed chicken beehoon with ginger is a "must try"...here. Their sweet & sour pork is also great with decent sized pieces of pork not too heavily coated with corn-flour. arrived at 6.30pm when the highway was bumper-to-bumper traffic and while it was amply filled we didn't have to wait too long for a table. I highly recommend this restaurant.More

Had late lunch here enroute to Malacca. It was a Sunday & the place was very crowded. We had the curry wild boar meat (RM$18) which many here had recommended, did not disappoint. Steam patin fish (RM$60) was very fresh! Also had prawn with tang...hoon (RM$48), very tasty but prawn was a little overcooked. Reckon they used quite abit of MSG in their food as we felt very thirsty for the rest of the day!More

A random thought on a Saturday morning led to the discovery of this little gem. Wanting to get away from the eateries in beaten paths led us here. Parking was easy and finding the place was fairly straight forward. Once seated, the service was friendly...and fast. The waiting staff are fairly knowledgeable and are happy to explain the menu to you and the what the crowd favourites are. We ordered the river prawns in vermicelli soup, a steamed Patin fish cooked in clay pot, the homemade tofoo, stir fried frog meat in sauce and a water cress in garlic sauce. The dishes were of good size and tasty. The total bill was reasonable considering the food ordered and number of people. It was a very enjoyable experience and it was worth the trip / visit to Bukit Tinggi.More

Food served was very tasty. Took a bit of time to prepare but worth it. Price wise it is quite reasonable. The fish that was served was fresh.

We visited this place as part of our visit to the nearby resort to try on this famous restaurant in the area. We ordered 4 dishes which contained 2 big freshwater prawns, noodles and some vegetables. Without the prawns, the meal would have cost less...than RM50. Taste was good, price was good, location was pretty standard chinese restaurant, I would recommend this place.More
