Avoid this place at all costs!! I wouldn't even eat here for free!! What an absolute joke!! Got there and asked if they were doing food to which the answer I got was yeah but we have only just opened and presented me with a handwritten menu. After I asked when they opened and she said two weeks ago. If... More

Went in with 5 friends, we were visiting the area. The usual McMullen AK was not available, and the IPA was not up to the usual standard I am used to. Very small bar, with hardly anywhere to sit, just a few chairs around the walls. Locals didn't seem to want to mix. Certainly will not be returning as there... More

Although advertised on Tripadvisor and on the outside walls of their premises, this pub DOES NOT SELL Pie and mash . There is nowhere to sit and eat it even if they did. Full of loud football fans and no sign of any food at all. Don't bother going.

Went here to watch the football one Sunday afternoon. Had a good looking Sunday roast (didn't buy it though...just wanted some Chips and a pint to watch the footy), but there was no other food which was quite disappointing. But the service was good and a really friendly place to go.

Had a take away Pie & mash and was spot on! I am a Londoner and that's one of the best I have had! And also glad I can get it without going all the way to London.

Regularly pop in the Victoria for breakfast or lunch, really lovely authentic, home made food at very reasonable price, have a good selection of beers on offer and show Premier league and international football, Can recommend.

Met up with my sister and niece and had pie and mash to die for. As ex-East Londoners it is every bit as good as Manzi's or Cookes' and very reasonably priced too. Will definitely be eating there again soon.

A great family pub. Terrific home made food, especially the ~Sunday Roasts~ Unbeatable welcome, lovely attitude to children, great value and moorings for narrowboats!
