This cafe has been around for a long time and continues to flourish. Provides good cafe style food well presented at a reasonable price. Staff are friendly and attentive and service reliable. Coffee is as good as you can get, wellworth a visit if you are in the area, not too busy and great after a visit to Dressmart

Just as a pretext, this business was under new management when we visited and were still finding their feet. However, they brought me the wrong bagel, the blueberry cream cheese muffin had no cream cheese, they brought out two chowders when we only ordered one, they also brought out a scone, bun and slice we didn't order. When we eventually... More

Came to this cafe again and found the hospitality, service and food feels exactly like home. It's less busy and feels more personal and they treat you like when you come back home to mum's or nana.

It's hard giving this place a low rating as the little place was overwhelmed by the amount of wipe they were serving and were being so nice and cheerful about it all. However the coffee was terrible. It tasted burnt and was more milk then coffee. I ordered eggs Benedict, it came out much earlier then my partners meal and... More

Asked for gluten-free bread for toasted sandwich. It came with no cheese and used fruit loaf bread-yuk. The eggs Florentine came with 3 dried spinach leaves and pre made store brought hollandaise.( Don't say it's home made if it ain't.) Only thing going for it is the sun hits it in the morning and it's never busy. (Surprise much?)

Had a fantastic lunch of Salmon Salad, CEO plum scallops and a vegetarian Eggs Benedict. Feels like you are home in the back kitchen but have the elegant cafe atmosphere. Delicious food, reasonable prices and in a convenient location in Onehunga however the Salmon Salad was a tad small for lunch. Highly recommended.

I agree with previous reviewer. The coffee was great and the service was excellent. We stopped by for lunch yesterday with some overseas visitors. I had the burger and chips, while my wife had the quiche. Both were yummy as. And the flat white was beautiful. Hats off to Mary the proprietor, who is attentive and such a lovely host.... More

Fitting Fare for a CEO We stopped in here for a mid afternoon lunch on our first day on the North Island. We selected it after walking along Onehunga Mall Road and reading the menus at the other options. We choose the chicken (or “polo” according to the server!) kabobs and a hamburger. The chicken kabobs were juicy - not... More
