Lovely meal once more....we come here a couple of times a month. Excellent hot tasty food served by pleasant staff. Chloe the waitress even remembers I can't have dressing with mustard seeds in due to allergies. It would be nice if another type of dressing...could be offered but that would never stop us coming back. In fact...see you next week. Love this place.More

three of us visited and found the food and service excellent. Definitely worth a visit. We all had different meals - lasagne, lamb and chicken and no complaints with any.

Now the ship is open again the standard is superb again. The food quality and the cost was excellent and there's a good choice to pick from. The staff are very friendly and professional whilst at the same time adhering to all the covid safety...rules. An excellent run pub with a warm atmosphere.More

Three of us visited and we could not speak highly enough of both the food and service. We had a lovely mains, fish and scampi and then indulged in a pudding and wow they were lovely. Compliments to the chefs, will definitely be back.

Visited today the first lunchtime opening following the lockdown. Having enjoyed the food etc on many previous visits, it was obvious that the Ship remains hugely popular. There is still a large menu selection. The food today was as always expertly prepared and presented super...quality ingredients and generous portions, served by lovely staff. All in all a very pleasant experience. This is a genuine review, from a reviewer that is a stranger to social media but felt the need to give this positive review.More

Family of 4, one had gammon and he was happy with that. The rest of us had roast dinners. I’m not a fan of frozen carrots and I just feel that fresh vegetables would have been better. The meat and potatoes were fine. Service was...slow only two staff on the restaurant floor. Normally food and service is spot on, but we’ll be giving it a miss for a while. Hand sanitiser on entrance and staff did wear masks.More
