Another table declined to eat as he was so rude because they had asked to dine outside on a sunny day. The food was below average poor. My parents and grandparents had dined previously and had rave reviews. They say the chef... More

we couldn't believe how rude and unwelcoming the landlord was. We were 9 people booked in for lunch for a special occasion and basically he spoilt it with his grumpiness. The food was very good and the waiter was polite but the landlord should find another job!!

I am a fussy eater with the odd palate desires - these were catered for - the dressed mushrooms were amongst the best I have ever tasted - all to fit my request. The chef is excellent and really catered for my culinary desires... More

We asked the landlord to open a window and rather oddly he refused saying that the place would freeze, which is impossible as it was also warm... More
