My family of four visited for lunch and were seated on the balcony which has a nice view of the water. Nice setting, good service but 3 x fish & chips and 1 vegan salad for $160 I think is a trifle steep.

Four of us enjoyed a delightful dinner overlooking the water, even saw a seal lolling around near the shore. Staff were friendly, menu was interesting and tasty and served promptly. Glad We booked a seaside table on a Monday night because there was a reasonable crowd turn up. If you are on Phillip don't miss this.

The Foreshore is a wonderful place to have a meal on a balmy summer's night if you can get an outside table on the verandah as we did. The restaurant looks west over the water to San Remo, and facing west you don't have a sunset, but you don't have the sun directly in your face either. The menu is... More

Our last night in Philip island, wanted to go somewhere nice, found this restaurant on our drive around the island. We had a 3 course meal, all courses Beautiful. I would certainly call back here on our next trip.

We started with a salad and fresh bread and olives-all excellent. Then we shared the mussels and the fish and chips-perfect! We had a glass of the local Pinot Gris and a Chardonnay-both quite good and reasonably priced. For dessert we tried the sticky date pudding and a long black coffee-wonderful (neither of us had tried sticky date before). Caitlyn... More

Food was quite expensive and nothing really stood out. Views were lovely though and given not much else around was busy when we were there.

I visited here for lunch yesterday, New Year's Day. As it was a spur of the moment idea, ten of us turned up without a booking. The room was full, but the obliging staff rotated two bar tables into one long table, and accommodated us all very comfortably. Everyone enjoyed their meals - shared grazing plates, fish and chips, pork... More

We found ourselves at this busy restaurant, there isn't much to choose from in Rhyll so this looked nice. We were seated promptly, and given menus the prices were a little higher than expected but seeing these prices we were hopeful for great food. Apart from the lovely lady seating us the staff from there seemed nervous or bored or... More

Stopped off for a quick lunch and had the soup. Soup of the day was cauliflower and garlic and was very good, as was the crusty bread it came with. Well seasoned and creamy. The menu was extensive with a few specials. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked good however i am not a fan of savoury dishes having... More

The service was good but the food was very overpriced, small portions and not restaurant quality. We will not come back which is a pity as the location is great.
