Lovely small restaurant set back slightly from the beach so sheltered from the wind. Ceviche was very nice - we had the fish one and enjoyed it. Prawns and fish fillet with garlic sauce were both very good. Grilled prawns with no sauce was a bit too dry - should have ordered those with garlic sauce too. Good fast service.... More

Im writing this review on behalf of my husband, since I don't eat seafood, but he certainly does! We went to Playita's based on several recommendations, one of which was a tour guide on a walking food tour, so we knew it would be good. My husband got the whole fried fish and he devoured it. I had the chips... More

This playa facing restaurant serves as fresh food as it can get right out of the Atlantic ocean the atmosphere goes online with the locals and you see fewer tourists and more locals but food is delicious and the chile is hot.

Located on the beach, but because of topography you can't really see the ocean. There were 8 in our group for dinner.Plastic chairs and tables. My grilled, whole fish was excellent.2 breaded shrimp and a quesadilla were good.However,3 in our group ordered garlic dishes-2 the Lobster and one fish fillet. All 3 had WAY too much garlic. And this was from people who love garlic. You have... Went here due to other positive reviews but wasn't impressed. The best thing--on the beach with good sea breezes, so you kept cool. But after serving us drinks, we waited 45 minutes and the waiter never returned for our dinner order. Too busy flirting with the four girls at the next table. He came to them at least four times... Great spot just off the beach. You have to walk down the street north of lighthouse to get there. Don't think a beach entrance. Food was great and all very affordable. Fresh everything. Will go back

We shared shrimp ceviche, and then I had garlic shrimp which came with rice and a salad. Although it was delicious! Really nice people; great service! All the fish and seafood or fresh they even showed us a fresh seafood still on ice before we chose what we wanted for our meal.

It was our first night in Mexico and our friends brought all of us to a beach restaurant. This is a tables in the sand place with a fixed roof fifty feet from the ocean. Great vibe. There were 18 of us there including the kids. Most of the menu was ordered. I had conch ceviche and the garlic fish... More

This was a great find. At first we were the only ones there and I was beginning to wonder if our recommendation from a cab driver was good. It was. We were early and locals began filling the outside tables. What excellent flavors, especially the Cameron's (diablo, about). As a bonus there was plenty of things to do for the... More

We were guided here by locals and they obviously know their stuff , advised to get the fried whole fish and again they weren't wrong ... So keep it simple , go here , fried fish , great stuff ..... Although the Mrs has tried other stuff and it's good ..... And their cocktails are pretty damn fine too
