Fantastic Sunday lunch today. Really high quality food, I had the mussells to start with and roast beef for my main course - all really tasty. We had two people in our party with large appetites and needed some extra potatos and veg which were provided with no issue at all. Great staff, felt very welcomed (as was our small... More

We used to come here frequently, but change of owners spoiled thus beautiful venue. However, under new ownership there is passion once again in sourcing good local food, cooking it superbly, and having the service skills with customers to back it up. Welcome back to five star dining.

First visit to the moody cow, and it didn't disappoint. I had a baked brie to start, and the beef with blue cheese burger for my main course followed by banana parfait. Look forward to coming back soon and trying more of the menu. Excellent service from all the staff.

Great stop-off en route to Wales, only a few minutes off the M50. Lovely place, great beer, varied and delicious menu. Treats for our dog on arrival. Well worth the short detour.

My wife and I recently had Sunday lunch here. We had two courses. Both starters were good. My wife had the roast beef for main and was happy with that while I had the lamb which was a little over cooked although still tender. Overall a reasonably good meal

After being disappointed by a few pubs locally we had heard good things of the Moody Cow and it didn't disappoint. We went for the three course lunch menu at £29.95 per person. You are able to pick for a good choice of dishes for all three courses. The starters were fresh and tasty, mine especially good with hazelnut coated... More

Well worth the 110 mile round trip to meet the parents for lunch. Chosen directly as a result of trip adviser revues and was not disappointed. The staff and owners could not have made us more welcome. The food and general ambience of the place is exceptional. A totally faultless experience. Should we find another excuse to be within 30...
