This is a place where you would not expect a great restaurant - two hairpin bends down from a 2,300 metres high mountain pass, with a fantastic view of the Dolomites from the terrace, and plenty of sunshine until sunset. You would expect a mountain lodge offering sausage and polenta. But no, here you have great cuisine, ranging from the... More

We discovered this restaurant by accident in 2013 and have been back every year since. Great location, great service and great food using local ingredients and alpine themes. If you are in the Cortina or Marmolada area, do not miss!

We were here in summer for a good lunch. The chef helped us to translate the whole menu. How lovely, and he cooks great too! This restaurant was a tip of friends. They come here every years many times in winter. But the quality in summer is good too. Not so big, make a reservation to be sure you have... More

Great food, beautiful view and nice cosy ambience. The journey to the restaurant was long, with plenty of twists and turns up to the mountain (N.B. map on shown on Trip Advisor is incorrect, this restaurant is nowhere near town). It was definitely worth the trip!

I loved this place!! The waitress did not speak English but was so friendly and smiling I guess I wrinkled my nose at the first glass of wine she poured me. She ran over grabbed a new bottle to be sure I like it ( I did) The cook and owner came to explain the menu They were so friendly... More

Perched on a mountain pass (between Cortina and Selva di Cadore) with astounding views of the Marmolada. Food was outstanding -- pasta with mountain pesto, mezzelune with zucca and gorgonzola, tender lamb chops, and an assortment of great deserts. Service was impeccable and some real knowledge of the wines of the region. Will definitely return.

the restaurant is located in one of the most breathtaking areas around Cortina. The athmosphere is very friendly and the quality of food and drink outstanding. Traditional dishes from the area are interpreted in a nice yet not extravagant way. For instance, traditional casunziei (red beet ravioli) are transformed into one big raviolo with red beet and fresh creamy cheese... More

With so many good restaurants around competition shouldn't be easy, but at least for me, a Chef, is impossible to find better cooking in the area. On one occasion, I remember we drove over 2 hours just to have dinner here. Their food is THAT delicious. If you are around pay them a visit, you will not come out disappointed.

This is by far the best restaurant I have ever attended. First things first, the drive from Cortina is about 30 minutes, which 20 minutes are in the dark and going around the mountain, all full of curves and cliffs. The drive is WORTH IT 100000% You are treated as a 3 star Michellin Restaurant, but quite inexpensive; the service... More
