Authentically Spanish and low key the restaurant re-located from the Vista del mar at Tauro beach is every bit as good as it was. Amazingly great food beautifully cooked with very good service. Don’t expect any frills but do expect excellent food. Gambas with avocado comes highly recommended but all the food is great at really good prices. Would highly recommend a Visit.

Had lunch and it was very good garlic prawns. There were a lot of people there and little service, so you have to expect some waiting time, but it was certainly worth waiting for the food.
Totally awesome place all the time there is nothing open at Tauro beach

Waiting more than an hour, without eating at the end! The service does not exist. We have ordered 3 courses, waiting 25 minutes to order, 30 minutes for a starter and then we waited another 40 minutes we went straight out, with 2 guys who also don't look like waiters, more masons, plus the restaurant was empty! I left about 20 euros at the bar for the soft drink and we left without finishing eating, 65 minutes to drink a cola and eat a fried cheese.

Because of the positive reviews, we decided to eat at the Tauro restaurant. We each ordered a Merisco soup, an octopus frito and a lamb cutlet.
The soup was more like water with a lot of curry powder, otherwise rather bland and tasteless. We added a lot of salt, but the octopus rings in the soup were still cold inside...
The octopus was OK, but without salt or any taste, it came out of a deep fryer onto a cold plate. The tomato had no oil or any seasoning, the potatoes had no salt.
I would describe the lamb as frozen and then straight out of the deep fryer, dripping with fat and rock hard. Simply fried to death...the fries were strangely too salty...
We won't be coming here again, the worst restaurant in 14 days of vacation.
The waiter was also rather irritated when I criticized the food. There was no concession. True to the motto: eat, pay and go...

This is a wonderful place with delicious food. The staff were attentive without being overbearing . This was a true Canarian experience - and certainly not aimed just at tourists . I would highly recommend trying this restaurant .

We want to support the local restaurants on our travels, we are not for hotels where everything is included 👎 we were greeted by a not overly eager waiter ☹️ we ordered two draft beers which arrived quickly, we chose roast beef which seemed a little dry with a little tomato and salad, as well as almost cold canary potatoes🤔 there was a bit of a mess on the table after we had eaten, which we thought would be sorted out when the table was cleared, but no, then we chose not to order dessert and enjoy ourselves further, but asked about the bill and there was no tip👎👎

You should definitely go there: simple, honest food at a fair price. The paella for two or more people is excellent and inexpensive too. You will be more than full, the staff are quick and friendly and you will leave satisfied. We will definitely be back!
