Very casual, unassuming, plain, simple, nothing impressive about the place itself, but WOW - what an experience! Just very simple authentic down-to-earth food, and absolutely delicious. They are known for their fish tacos, which were hands-down the best we had anywhere. But everything else was...great as well! Always crowded at night, but during the day there was plenty of space both downstairs and upstairs. The staff was helpful and capable of getting by in English. And the prices were so reasonable!! We had a completely filling dinner for two for less than $10 Cdn. No way to beat that!More

We made two attempts to eat here after enjoying it in previous years. On the first occasion the fish tacos had very soggy batter as if reheated in a microwave. The second time, they were out of fish tacos which was not told to us...until the other dish was delivered . And yes we do speak Spanish. We may try again one day, as perhaps being very busy they maybe could not handle the business. It seemed no one knew which tables ordered and where the food was goingMore

As you walk by and smell the meat cooking you will need to stop to eat. Up a narrow stairway to a dining area with a dozen tables overlooking the street you can enjoy the best fish tacos. Or for that matter a wide variety...of tacos and other dishes. Mostly locals but you will feel welcome.More

Great choice, good service and authentic food. We ordered tacos and tlayudas. The appetizer they gave us, black beans with chips were simply the best!

It's tasty and cheap but they are using very cheap oil for cooking. Don't recommend to visit many times due to health risks.

Cheap eats that are grilled over fire, with some cold bottled beer for good measure. The Torta's were fantastic, if not a little filling. Great Value.

Excellent food, well priced, mostly Mexican clientele with a few gringos. The fish tacos are fantastic. If you don't speak any Spanish you might struggle as some servers dont speak any English. They are friendly and service is efficient. We enjoyed 3 fish tacos each,...2 beers and a sopa for 170p.More

I ate dinner here one night on my recent trip to Huatulco. My daughter and I shared tacos and enchiladas with a mole sauce. Great price and fun atmosphere!

Los Parados feeds a mostly local clientele, but welcome tourists as well. There’s not much english spoken, but the staff are welcoming and patient with non-Spanish sparking gringo guests. They make delicious tacos, tlayudas, and quesadillas. Taco varieties include chicken, grilled beef (barbacoa), shrimp, beef...short rib (delicious), and my favorite, cabeza. Tips for first timers: -From about 6pm onwards, it’s often packed, with a crowd milling around waiting for seats. Don’t be intimidated and don’t be shy. The local style is to grab any seat that opens up. So you should do the same. If you stand there meekly waiting, you might wait a long time. If that doesn’t feel comfortable to you, make sure you make yourself noticed by a staff member and they will help you get a table eventually. -there’s no air-conditioning and even though it’s outdoors it can get pretty hot. The cool seats are the open air ones at street level. Upstairs is open air but it gets pretty warm. The small inside room at street level is sweltering. I avoid it because I run hot down in Mexico. -Prices are inexpensive and you’ll probably convince yourself that it must not be much food so you’ll probably order too much. - They drop a complimentary plate of chips with beans, grilled onion, and nopoles along with salsas when you order. (So instead of looking at each other and wondering ” Did we order that?”, now you know you didn’t. But it’s yours, it’s free, and it’s good. -The tacos come three to an order and they cost around 30-35pesos per order, so about $1.50 for 3. The tlayudas runs about 40 pesos/$2. Order the short rib version and you get a giant corn tortilla that’s filled with chop meat and cheese, folded in half, and then an additional short rib slice is placed on top. Order the short rib version and you get a giant corn tortilla that’s filled with chop meat and cheese, folded in half, and then an additional short rib slice is placed on top. The place is not fancy. It’s plastic chairs and bare tables. And it gets crowded and hot. But the food is fantastic and pure and the people are nice and the prices are ridiculously affordable. Definitely worth checking out.More

It is sometimes hard while wandering around to find the place you are searching for. The kitchen here is basically along the sidewalk complete with the fire in the oven and tortillas cooking on the comal. We ate serveral dinners here and always enjoyed everything....Fish tacos are a personal favourite. The menu is very reasonable. Spanish is the spoken language. Food is eaten with your hands for the most part.More
