Went in on Saturday 25th November for tea with few friend staff very good from start to finish food came out in good time and all was correct and very hot we all enjoyed it and will be going back again highly recommend this place

Visited the pub for lunch with a friend. She went to the bar to ask if the piped music could be turned down as she is deaf. The waitress replied "Well if you're deaf, how can you hear it anyway?" Just stunned by this rudeness....More

Had a lovelyt lunch today, delicious hot baguette with Sweet Chili chicken and salad. Great Food excellent value, and also should you happen to have a dog in tow, they are made very welcome too.

We do try and keep Dogs in the bar area, and it does state on the entrance that we are a dog friendly pub, unfortunately this will not be changing anytime soon, Kind Regards David Thomas GM

I too think John F is confused. I will go again soon and see if what you say is true, but I am doubtful. I wonder if John F has an ulterior motive, maybe supports a local pub/restaurant that is losing business to the Jolly... More

20 plus years ago it was a great pub. I don't think the place has been cleaned since then. We should complain away, hopefully the place will be closed down!
