Went for a works leaving meal, 12 of us. Food was lovely, service was great, we were very well looked after. bar staff very friendly a great place to visit. Would highly recommend

We came here on our jaunt to Newark. Had 5 or 6 real ales on, we had a couple while here. Although we didn't try the food we thought it was a touch on the expensive side. Lady who served us made us feel welcome....More

We called in on a Saturday evening expecting to book but no need they had plenty of room, great beers and a great pizza menu, the food was excellent, they had a deal 2 pizza's and a bottle of wine for £24 ish great value,

What a surprise. An unprepossessing looking pub in a street in Newark. Inside dark, too dark really, and not in any sense perfectly presented. But the food! Unusual menu. Lovely presentation, really interesting, Beautifully cooked and certainly out off the ordinary. And a good price....More

Hi, Our Aspalls Cyder is priced at £4.20 a pint so I am not sure where the £4.80 came from as we don't have any products priced at that. There is a price list next to the bar which is available to view before ordering....More

Lovely pub in the center number of ales on offer at the time of our visit they also had a mini beer and cider festival on. It has a number of rooms with a little outdoor seated area.
