Went to this pub for the first time on the off chance today whilst visiting family in Lincoln. It's a 7 minute drive from the city centre, bright, fresh decor, lovely and clean, staff are friendly and very helpful, the pub has a huge beer garden and terrace so has the added advantage of being able to eat outside next... had a terrible experience in this pub, went with another couple, there was a group of men drunk and rowdy at the bar being very loud and rude, we all felt really intimidated especially how it was on 5 in the evening. Regardless we got seated and had a meal, nothing on the plate was half descent we would have... More

I must admit bias before reviewing The Plough. It is my local, I even have my own glass behind the bar. However, under the previous management I had some truly terrible meals there. This is no longer the case. Brunch here costs £2.80. That is how cheap the food is. the new manager has brought in quality chefs and despite... More

This is a handy pub serving food from 12 noon. Spacious car park. Various areas to sit inside the pub or outside by the river. We visited on a hot day and we felt there was a need for ceiling fans in the conservatory area.

Excellent pub, nice meals and ales. We had a varied lot of meals, all of which were cooked to perfection and with large helpings. Lots of choice and a very friendly bunch too. We will return.

Visited at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon. After passing the Pub all week and seeing the '8oz Rump Steak for £3.99' Deal, we decided to give it a try. The Pub was suprising quiet and we had no trouble finding a table. We ordered the Soup starter ( Small Portion ) & the 8oz Rump. The Rump, Chips, Peas &... More

Arrived Thursday 12.15pm. There are 2 Disabled parking bays in the car park. You can get in by the large front door or by the ramp on the left hand side going through the side door past the disabled toilet in to the main bar. You find a table for your needs, (plenty of room for wheel-chairs) we chose a... More
