This was the worst Thai meal I ever had. The spring rolls were tasteless. The vegetarian green curry was more like diluted green curry soup. The menu says it has tofu in it but there was no tofu at all. A steamed duck dish was tasteless. All the essence of duck was gone, and there was hardly any taste of... More

My wife and I went there for dinner randomly during the week after another restaurant messed up our booking. What a score!! Great food and great service. The lady serving us was extremely friendly and food fresh and tasty. We had 2 dishes between us with rice and finished every scrap (We normally dont eat that much). Highly recommended.

A very delightful little Thai/Burmese restaurant hidden away in the Yarralumla shops. Family run with a very good range of Thai and Burmese style food to choose from. Our pick is the paradise chicken, closely followed by the red curry duck. The staff are friendly and attentive. Recommend booking for a Friday or Saturday evening.

We ate here a few months ago but I thought it was such bad food I might as well. I had thai beef salad. Terrible. Considering the price they should use proper cuts of meat. The meat was old old old. The chicken was stringy & again from old poultry. The worst thing was there was young kids serving us!... More

We had another great dinner at Sukothai - silver bags followed by angel prawns & burmese goat curry & dish of paradise. Pleasant setting & very friendly staff.

Even though management changed a while back, the whole family grew up on deep fried tofu with sweet peanut sauce and vegetarian red curry...and, try as we might, over the years we've been elsewhere, but so far, found others generally pale in comparison. Pity I've never seen the place full, but it's just another Canberra treasure, perhaps.

This restaurant has a great selection of traditional thai food but go with the owners pick and make a selection from the burmese menu. The owners cook traditional burmese food and it is fantastic in flavour. Service is very good and atmosphere is great (not noisy like so many canberra restaurants).

Sukothai is a little difficult to find from the street but is well worth the search - look for the a frame sign! Every dish is very distinctive and prices are very reasonable.
