This is a great restaurant !!! On a scale of 10 it's 9/10 In a relatively quiet part of King Street near Elizabeth Street, is an unobtrusive entry taking you downstairs to a quality room at basement level. Away from the noise of the street at lunchtime, this is an excellent place for a business lunch or just lunch with... More

We were staying at the Sheraton on the Park just 2 blocks away. We found this restaurant by accident and ate here our first night in Sydney. Wonderful Tapas selections and nice wine list. We came back in to Sydney 2 weeks later and decided to do the 4 course meal with wine pairings. Wow, what a great meal. Wait... More

Popped in here before a show at The State Theatre with a few friends. Chose a great tea get of tapas to share between ourselves. All food was of excellent quality and delicious, particularly the chorizo with black pudding. Servings are small and quite expensive so be aware that your cost could increase without to much attention. Entry may be... More

Great Ambiance, Great Spanish Tapas with a large range to choose from all large enough for 4 to share. Really pleasant venue for a Friday Dinner with Friends at reasonable prices and good food / service

We enjoyed our set menu dinner with matched Spanish wine when recently celebrating our Son's birthday in the City. We left feeling well satisfied with the food, the variety and the service. Would recommend, a little noisy during the peak time, bit that was just a minor distraction from an otherwise very enjoyable evening.

A friend mentioned going out to a Spanish place the other night and it just stuck in my mind so went through Zomato to find a good place above 3.5 in the city and this came up. Came here for lunch on a Tuesday and it was pretty quiet. The setting is really nice, loved the ambience. Ordered Chorizo and... More

This is a sub road level restaurant which serves authentic Spanish food [with a smattering of dishes that the West think are Spanish as well]. The food, wine and service is very good. The décor sets the scene for a good dining experience. For 3 adults with large appetites, we were well catered for on the menu. Spanish beer, and... More

First the negatives: loud (but still able to converse easily), dessert (churros) weakest part of meal Now the positives; good vibe, best meal of our time to date in Sydney. Great combination of flavors in the 4 tapas we ordered lamb salad, squid, meatballs and mushrooms and very filling for the two of us. The wines our waiter recommended were... More

Came across this restaurant and decided to try it out, so glad we did. Everything from the tapas plates we shared to our churros & espresso martini at the end were all delicious. Will definitely be back again!

If you are looking for Spanish Tapas for vegetarians: Subsolo is where you will find it. Upon my holiday to Sydney in April, my sister organized a ladies night and Subsolo was chosen as the dinner venue. It was simply lovely! warm, cozy, dim lighting.. just what was needed on that cold night in Sydney. The food was delicious in... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
