For fine Italian food, there are many options in cbd. This place was good but not as good as i expected. Perhaps nothing really stood out other than the brilliant staff. Food took forever to arrive even though the restaurant was 3/4 empty. Maybe ill give it another try.

Firstly, the place has it's peculiarity's. Hidden away entrance makes it a place you don't walk into, but the pool/lounge at area on a roof as part of the restaurant is something else. Not any swimmer's while we were there, but a bit of mix of concepts. Anyway the food and service was very good, had calamari for starter and... More

Amazing food, great decor and ambiance. We went on a Friday night we had a table overlooking the pool, dj was playing amazing music but music was not too loud so we could carry on table conversation.

Hubby took me here for my birthday dinner and although I'm not a huge fan of the "popular" kid hangouts I've gotta say we really enjoyed this experience. Starting with the service-you've got the really attentive and friendly staff. (One who we think was the token Italian) But you can grab any face and they help get that drinky-poo at... More

I love this place but the veal cutlet was dry dry dry. Try eating a huge cutlet without any sauce or aioli and just a lemon wedge. I had a table of 8 people and 4 ordered a main pasta. It was too small even for an entree size. My clients left disappointed. I had a chocolate mousse for dessert... More

Visited Uccello for a Friday lunch with my wife and with friends and family from Brisbane. We wanted somewhere nice in the heart of Sydney and that had great food and wine, a great atmosphere and pleasant outlook and we certainly ticked all boxes at Uccello. We had a table that overlooked the pool bar (also part of the Ivy)... More

I had lunch here with some business colleagues. Great service and unique menu. Just a few menu choices for lunch, but everything is excellent and comes quickly. The chef is world-class and the food likewise. Nice wine selection.

You can either pick from 3 or 4 courses, but what can you pick from? The whole menu! So if you wanted 4 mains or 4 entrees, that's up to you A one chef hatted restaurant, I can see why. Service is excellent and its right next to the pool bar. Food wise I enjoyed the entrees (anti pasti and... More

I had always had Uccello on my 'to dine' list for a while since the restaurant looked do pretty. Attended with 3 friends and tried a wide selection of the menu. We had starters comprising of; tuna, prawns and pork pasta which were delicious dishes, but the mains were so dry!!! We ordered pork, venison and lamb dishes. The pork... More

Description
Set in beautiful poolside surroundings, Uccello is ivy's hidden rooftop gem. Featuring an authentic Italian menu with only the freshest produce, each dish allows the ingredients to speak for themselves. Uccello's steak menu features incredible pasture-fed beef sourced direct from Adelaide's passionate and dedicated butcher, Richard Gunner. After dry-aging on the bone for six to eight weeks to ensure meat is tender and flavourful, cuts are cooked simply over flame with McLaren Vale Olive Oil and Murray River pink salt.
