We lucked upon this restaurant and very happy we did. Pea, crab and mint salad perfectly balanced flavours, oysters so fresh straight off the trawler, gnocchi as fluffy and soft as clouds!! I could only fault the Eclair dessert, pastry a bit soft but overall...More

Great share plate options. Very fresh and clean. Services was a little slow though it was worth the wait

Have been before but had a starter and main then so this time went for main and a dessert. Understand a couple of the reviews that talk about small portions however for a fine dining experience this was what we expected. Plenty of food with...More

I really enjoyed my meal however the portions were ridiculously small. Cheese and cake should have been double the size to be acceptable. Will not go back even though I really liked the atmosphere because for me generosity is the best quality of a chef...More

We went late on Saturday night, and waited a little past our reservation time, but the bar is a good place to hang out. Staff was well informed and prompt, though the food service was a little slow. John Dory and steak filet were perfect....More

Last minute booking on holiday in Sydney with the kids. Got a late table on a Wednesday night: place was heaving! Nice ambiance despite being very crowded and the food was excellent. Service was formal rather than friendly although staff were very nice to my...More

Obviously you have to make a booking before hand as the restaurant is very popular. You have 15 minutes from the time of acceptance to be there. Make sure you are there on time because there will be others desperate for your booking. Service although...More

Felix is just behind the Sydney Recital Centre and we made a booking with friends after a concert with the Brandenburg Orchestra. We booked for 930, but arrived at 9pm. We were taken immediately to our table. The restaurant was almost full and very busy...More

Had a good quality meal at Felix. Decor of the restaurant is true to French bistro style. Service was solid. Ambience and price point, though, are a bit 'Merivale-esque' (i.e. overcrowded and about 20% overpriced). An enjoyable meal nonetheless, with dessert being the highlight.

Taking a business guest to lunch made a booking in advance. Was seated unfortunately at the back next to the wine and kitchen had staff walking past all the time. Not a pleasant experience. A waiter bumped into me while serving. He later crashed a...More

Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with
energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise
buildings and after-work drink places, high-end
shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners
frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a
dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit
the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle,
reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens

Nestled in Sydney's Ash Street laneway, this elegant bistro’s classic French fare is perfectly matched by an extensive wine list. Felix is affectionately designed as a romantic homage to the quintessential French brasserie. Diners are charmed by its many authentic touches; like walls featuring real Parisian subway tiles, imported French chandeliers, a beautiful pewter bar and food delivered by waiters in traditional long-aprons.
